What is the future for culture, and how do independent practitioners and small organisations contribute to culture in the North East? 120 creatives and cultural heritage practitioners met for Open Space, part of Case for Culture looking at the future of culture in the next 15 years.

All the participants could propose and lead a discussion session during the day, and everyone could drop in and out of them as they wished in order to talk about as many things as possible. I led a session about freelancers / independents / self-employed practitioners and how they make culture happen in the North East.  This is just a start, to be developed with Case for Culture.
