Journey to Justice starts its first Tyneside project today. Young adults from Newcastle's Space2 (link removed, site outdated) are working with Curiosity Creative to do oral history interviews and will interview people who have been active in social justice on Tyneside.  Their interviews and research will become part of an exhibition about Martin Luther King, scheduled to open at Great North Museum: Hancock in April.

As for the Bedale Leech House - it's no longer used to keep leeches in, but leeches are making a comeback in modern medicine, not for blood letting but to maintain healthy blood flow following surgery.
