English Heritage has appointed Nicola and Qa Research to carry out the evaluation of the Heritage Schools project.  The project runs for three years and encourages schools to use their local heritage environment for learning across the curriculum.  The first three areas taking part are Barking & Dagenham, Bristol and Great Yarmouth.  North Tyneside, Leicester and Manchester will be joining in April.  Nicola will be covering the participatory evaluation aspect - training and support for the Local Heritage Education Managers on doing fun activities with children and young people to find out their views about their local area.
